Work Dynamics of a Geolocatable Materials Item

Work Dynamics of a Geolocatable Materials Item

The delivery jobs and the pickup jobs of geolocatable materials are treated like call-outs, and are generated from the Main
menu / button clients / selector site clients / button call-out. We access the screen Call-out generation where we fill in
all the information necessary to create the job. There are 2 specific fields for the jobs related to managing geolocatable
materials:
• field geolocamaterials to be delivered. It is a drop-down field that displays all the geolocatable materials flagged
with the "in the warehouse" status.
• field geolocamaterials to be fetched. It displays all the materials flagged with the "at the client’s site" status.

Let us look at the procedure for a delivery job of geolocatable materials.
• When generating the call-out, we select in the field geolocatable materials to be delivered the materials we
would like to deliver.
• We click the option generate and a delivery job is created for the selected material. At this point, the job box is
white and the materials status is "for delivery".
• The technician visits the client premises to deliver the product.
• When the delivery job is completed, the job box is yellow and the materials status is "at the client’s site". In addition,
the materials are automatically geolocated on the map. And if the materials have a "delivery cost", that amount is
itemised on the acceptance slip as materials/resource.
Let us look at the procedure for a pickup job of geolocatable materials.

• When generating the call-out, we select in the field geolocatable materials to be fetched those materials we
would like to fetch.
• We click the option generate and a delivery job is created for the selected materials. At this point, the job box is
white and the materials status is "for delivery".
• The technician visits the client premises to fetch the product.
• When the delivery job is completed, the job box is yellow and the materials status is "in the warehouse". And if the
materials have a "pickup cost", that amount is itemised on the job acceptance slip as materials/resource.

We can also have in the same job a delivery of one product and a pickup of another.
